Emily Hill

Biography

Emily Hill (McCall) is a painter and educator based in Northern Ireland. She graduated from Gray’s School of Art with a BA Hons in Fine Art Painting in 2015. Her work is inspired by childhood memories of environmental tensions, where simple objects become metaphors, creating a subtle sense of unease — from toys to chairs. At the core of her practice lies drawing, serving as the foundation for every image, both conjured and remembered from life.
