Evelina Zakharov

Biography

Evelina Zakharov holds a first class degree in Fine Art. Her practice predominantly involves a combination of drawing, painting and film making. Her work is often based on childhood memories, and explores the space between the real and the imagined. Since completing the Drawing Year in 2019, observational drawing continues to play a fundamental role in her practice, allowing her to further investigate her surroundings; she is interested in exploring the sense of distance between herself and her subject - that which is always just beyond reach.
