Gideon Summerfield

Biography

Since completing the postgraduate ‘Drawing Year’ course, Gideon has had numerous exciting opportunities that have propelled his career. This includes being commissioned by contemporary gallery, Hauser and Wirth, to create a series of portraits for their hotel, The Fife Arms located in the Highlands and their ‘Fish Shop’ restaurant. In 2023, Gideon was privileged to have been chosen by HM King Charles III to capture the Royal Coronation and has subsequently produced a series of paintings that will be part of The Royal Collection.
