Biography

Helen Burgess studied Illustration at Falmouth College of Arts (2000-3). She finds that observational drawing keeps her perceptions bright, making collage enlivens fragments of experience and memory, and painting becomes a process of strict distillation. She lives and works in a Buddhist community in East London.
