Hugh Morton

Biography

Hugh Morton was born in Edinburgh and studied painting at Gray's School of Art in Aberdeen before completing a graduate residency at Leith School of Art and then studying at the Royal Drawing School. His work often takes personal experience and literature as subject matter, but is underpinned by sustained drawing and painting from observation. Hugh has illustrated two books.
