Isabel Garfield

Biography

Isabel Garfield graduated in Fine Art from the University of Newcastle in 2018, and worked in Barcelona the following year before starting on The Drawing Year. In her work she looks at the way memories and dreams function and connect to our everyday lived experiences. She is interested in what constitutes a real, waking space and how this can be a weave of both fiction and reality. She works across painting, drawing, installation and more recently printmaking.
