James Trimmer

Biography

Born in Wellington, New Zealand in 1986, James Trimmer lives and works in London. He studied Painting at the University of Brighton and then went on to complete The Drawing Year at The Prince's Drawing School (now the Royal Drawing School). His practice has centred round the figurative through the mediums of painting, drawing and printmaking. Recently he has focused more on sound as a medium of expression, but still holds drawing as an important part of his practice.
