Jeeti Singh

Biography

Jeeti completed her BA in both Fine Art and Psychology at San Francisco State University before becoming a gallery manager and practicing artist in downtown San Francisco. She continued her studies years later in London at Chelsea College of Art and Design, receiving her MA in Fine Art shortly before joining the Royal Drawing School. Jeeti has worn many hats at the School over the past 13 years, Senior Coordinator of The Drawing Year, Education and Enterprise Senior Manager and now Head of Public Programme and Commercial Enterprise. Her interest in psychology has led her to further her masters education, becoming an HCPC registered Integrative Arts Psychotherapist. As an artist her work mixes traditional Indian symbolism and stylisation with that of contemporary comics and graphic novels. Jeeti continues her practice in London and is currently writing her first graphic novel; previously having been shortlisted for the Laydeez do Comics Award as well as the Myriad First Graphic Novel Competition and SelfMadeHero's Graphic Anthology Programme.
