Biography

Jessica Jane Charleston is an artist based in London. Her work is an exploration of the self-portrait, creating artworks that reflect psychological states, focusing on womanhood and more recently motherhood. Spontaneity is key to her practice from her sketchbooks through to her painting and printmaking. In 2020 she was awarded the Young Artist Award from the Royal Watercolour Society. She shows her work with Partnership Editions in London, VASTO Gallery in Barcelona and CULT Aimee Friberg in the USA.
