Joseph Carag Buhat

Biography

Joseph Carag Buhat is a Filipino artist who graduated from Gray’s School of Art with First-Class Honours in Painting in 2019. His drawing and painting work portrays figures that narrate rituals, myths and legends of the Philippines, as a way to connect with his cultural roots and heritage. Collage is heavily and confidently used in his process, allowing him to create strong colour compositions.
