Biography
Josephines work, which is intrinsically attached to season and location, has always been a means for exploration, her sketchbook a place to cache sensation specific to locale, whether it be domestic everyday or adventure.Through printmaking, memory and process allow for the imagination to run away, so that the experience is intuitive. The focus shifts between fragments of remembered moments. Light on the back of a shining beetle, fluorescent windows in tower blocks, changing weather, walking the dog.
