Juan Martin

Biography

Juan Martin works primarily from his imagination but the foundation of his practice stems from observation. His meticulous sketchbook practice serves as a conduit where he works from his unconscious and his intuition. Juan develops these into more substantial pieces, working from one point, the artworks expand naturally. A sense of playfulness and organic form comes out as the work materialises. Juan studied Illustration at Brighton University and has worked as an illustrator and designer since.
