Biography

Artist and writer based in Ayrshire: interested in the material shape, processes and patterns of thinking; in borders of self and sense making; in exploring the edges and connections of things and thoughts.

Work develops through processes of layering, deletion, and improvisation. The process overlaps between painting and writing such as building pattern, rhythm and texture are applied to each developing work without needing control in the journey, shaping the result. What results can be something like world building.
