Biography

Kirsty Buchanan studied Art Philosophy and Contemporary practices at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art then moved from Scotland to London to do her MAFA at Central Saint Martin's, following which she studied at the Royal Drawing School. Buchanan’s drawings and paintings emerge from images recorded in dream diaries, memories of films and momentary sketches made in domestic scenarios. Buchanan currently lives and works in Amsterdam.
