Biography
Lena Yokoyama (b. 1995, Tokyo) graduated from Camberwell College of Arts in 2020 and has since worked as a commercial illustrator in London. Since joining the Royal Drawing School in 2024, Lena has cultivated a personal practice rooted in drawing from life and monotype. Her work often reflects on her Japanese and Austrian heritage, exploring translation, belonging, and intimacy within everyday life. Through drawing and print she seeks to capture fragile connections across cultures, relationships, and memory.
