Lily Snowden-Fine

Biography

Lily Snowden-Fine is a British/Canadian artist from Vancouver, BC. She graduated from Ontario College of Art and Design University in 2019, before attending The Drawing Year in 2022. Her work melds personal experience with the mystery of found photographs to condense time and play with an atemporal quality within her images. Using ambiguous yet evocative symbolism inspired by relics and antique objects, she explores how belongings become imbued with meaning and the significance of what is preserved by drawing.
