Biography

Mark Hanson aims to amalgamate opposing and disparate languages of paint into a coherent whole. The result is a split, creating a fractured surface that suspends the subject in a state of flux. This reflects the narrative of his work as he aims to depict a sense of discordance and nonalignment that underpins his figurative and landscape work.
