Nancy Haslam-Chance

Biography

Nancy Haslam-Chance is an artist, art therapist and silversmith living in Glasgow. In 2021 she was awarded second place in the Trinity Buoy Wharf drawing prize for a series of drawings documenting her job as a carer. Nancy is interested in the therapeutic power of art to help people survive and thrive in this world. Her work is often autobiographical and explores fears and wishes, relationships, domestic interiors and rooms as containers of emotions.
