Niki Tse

Biography

Niki Tse (b. 2001, Hong Kong) graduated from Newcastle University in Fine Art in 2023. Interested in creating spaces that meditate on memory and the transient nature of time, she builds on an archive of work to explore sentimentality, nostalgia, and the ephemeral. Playing with the relationship between chance and intention, Niki hopes to embrace serendipity and happy accidents. She strives to arouse — within the viewer and herself — tenderness, wonder, and serenity.
