Rosie Wellesley

Biography

Rosie Wellesley graduated from the Ruskin School of Fine Art in 2001. Since finishing The Drawing Year at The Prince's Drawing School (now the Royal Drawing School) in 2010 she has written and illustrated several children’s books (including ‘The Very Helpful Hedgehog’ which was shortlisted for the Junior Magazine New Talent Awards and read on CBEEBIES Bedtime Stories). She has also created several large pencil-drawn murals, including one at the History of Art Department at Oxford University. Her other job as a medical doctor continues to inspire her drawing. She lives in East London.
