Sam Marshall

Biography

Sam is an artist specialising in drawing and printmaking in particular linocut and etching. She studied at Central St Martins School of Art, the Slade School of Fine Art and on The Drawing Year at The Royal Drawing School. She has a PGCE from the Institute of Education and is the author of the best-selling book ‘Linocut’ published by Bloomsbury and her second book ‘Sketch’ is out soon. She takes her inspiration from her everyday life and her drawings in her sketchbook done during her travels in the UK and abroad. She shows her work nationally and internationally and is held in public and private collections all over the world.
