Sophie studied painting at 16 and worked with Lucian Freud from 1981–1990. She now paints daily in her West London studio and exhibits with Browse & Darby. She has taught for over 20 years.

Biography

Sophie studied painting at the City&Guild School of Art aged 16, then went on to work for Lucian Freud from 1981-1990. She has exhibited at the Albemarle Gallery with Pippa Houldsworth and currently shows at Browse&Darby. For the past 20 years she’s taught at the RoyalDrawingSchool, been in mixed shows curated at the SigmundFreudMuseum and paints daily in her West London studio.
