Viola Wang

Biography

Viola Wang graduated from the Tsinghua University (Beijing) with First Class Honours in Fine Art in 2004. She has since completed further studies in the UK and worked as a Children's Book Author and Illustrator. Interested in exploring the interrelationships between art and illustration, she joined the Royal Drawing School in 2021. She has also developed a printmaking practice that is heavily underpinned by drawing from observation and memory. Working with multiple disciplines in this way allows her to explore diversity and identity within our modern cosmopolitan societies.
