Emma Talbot

Emma Talbot’s paintings and drawings are based on real life experiences and reveal the pyschological knots or patterns of thought that accompany encounters. Often displayed as multiple images, the work is an act of drawing as directly as possible from memory, in an attempt to get closer to how things are retained. It includes pictorial imagery, abstract motifs and text. Talbot’s work is included in the Saatchi and David Roberts collections and will feature in the forthcoming Thames and Hudson Book ‘Drawing People’.
