Corporate Workshops
What are Drawing Pods?
Drawing Pods are bespoke drawing courses or workshops for groups or individuals taught by Royal Drawing School faculty who are all practicing contemporary artists. We organise corporate workshops, bespoke workshops for groups, life drawing in schools, drawing courses in museums and galleries, drawing workshops at events and festivals and private tuition. Workshops can be held at your place of work, in your home, in a hired space or at your event, or in our fully equipped studios.
Proceeds from bespoke drawing courses go towards funding the Royal Drawing School’s charitable programmes, supporting a new and diverse generation of artists. Corporate workshops also provide a way to fulfil your own corporate social responsibility objectives.
Corporate Workshops
Drawing helps you to put your thoughts in order. It can make you think in different ways. David Hockney
We believe that everyone can draw and everyone can benefit from observational drawing. A simple and yet endlessly complex activity, drawing builds communication skills, strengthens creative processes and equips us with the ability to see the world differently. Whether your goal is to develop group dynamics, explore imaginative approaches to problems, or simply refresh your team with a new and engaging experience, a drawing workshop will leave you with new ways of seeing, thinking and approaching your work.
Our workshops are suitable for all levels, interests and sectors; in the past we have worked with organisations including Selfridges & Co., Grey Advertising, Torchbox, Poke London, and the London Olympics media tent at Hackney House. We also work with creative industry professionals such as architects, engineers, animators, CAD designers and more, who are looking to extend and improve their drawing skills.
How it works
We provide full day, half-day, evening or weekend drawing workshops that can happen in your place of work, in a hired space, at our studios in Shoreditch, London, or online. If you are looking for a substantial weekend away we also arrange weekend workshops at inspiring locations across the UK to which we have unique access. Our Public Programme team will work with you to create a workshop that suits the needs of your organisation, specifically directed to align with the requirements of your team.

New Drawing and Wellbeing Workshops (Online)
Specifically designed to boost staff morale, lower stress and anxiety and strengthen a sense of community, our Drawing and Wellbeing Workshops are tailored to meet the needs of your staff. These bespoke online sessions incorporate observational drawing with guided meditations, mindfulness and yoga movements with the aim of improving resilience, increasing motivation and reducing the risk of burn out.
How it works
We provide Half-day (3hrs) and Multi-day (12hrs over 4 or 2 sessions) drawing workshops for groups of up to 10 participants. Workshops will be taught online by Royal Drawing School faculty, using Zoom and Padlet and are designed for those working from home using objects and surroundings from our everyday environments. Individual materials packs are sent in advance and included in the cost of the workshop. All levels of ability are welcome, you do not have to be an artist to benefit from drawing.
Courses can be scheduled on weekdays and Saturdays within the hours of 10am – 6.30pm, subject to availability.
