Overview
This course provides art students registered on a full–time BA Fine Art or Foundation course an opportunity to receive free, regular tutored drawing at The National Gallery. Drop-in's are open to non-art students at £18 per session.
The meeting point every week will be Room 9.
This drop-in is open to public students as well at £18 per session. Public students should book and pay on the day, before 6pm, via Eventbrite.
Who is it for
Beginners welcome. No experience of drawing required.
What’s provided
Students will need to bring their own paper and materials.
Students will be sent a suggested material list before the start of the course.
What to bring
BA Fine Art and Foundation level students must bring valid student ID.
This is an example list of what may be needed; a full material lists will be provided one week before your course begins. Our suggestions include:
- Drawing pencils
- Conté crayons
- Pastels
- Ink pens
- Coloured pencils
- Putty and hard erasers
- Pencil sharpener
- Sketchbook

Send proof that you currently receive this allowance. - Tower Hamlets and Hackney Residents: 25% (Shoreditch courses only)
Send a copy of your most recent council tax bill. - Tower Hamlets and Hackney Businesses: 25% (Shoreditch courses only)
Send a staff ID, business card or a letter from your line manager. - Over 60s: 10%
Send a photo ID as proof of age. - Alumni: Postgraduate Programme or Foundation Year: 50% off short courses
