Overview

Drawing from the model is more spontaneous than drawing from the imagination...I think if you have something to look at and try and get it, you find that all sorts of things happen' Paula Rego

In this course students will have the opportunity to explore this marvel through intense looking, understanding and making the marks.

Sustained poses will allow an in-depth investigation and development of the work, with a variety of clothed models. One-to-one tuition will be given. Different and varied aspects of observational drawing will be explored using a range of media, and reference to the drawings of a diverse range of artists will be made throughout.

Who is it for

Beginners welcome. No experience of drawing required.
