Overview

This course invites artists to explore the space between observation and imagination through hands-on, process-led drawing and printmaking techniques. Working with everyday materials and without the need for a press, you’ll experiment with techniques like frottage, Mono-printing, tetra pack printing and home lithography.

Throughout the course there will be a focus on tactile, exploratory methods that connect drawing, printing, painting and sculpture, and aim to foster a playful approach to image making. Alongside making, we’ll discuss contemporary approaches to drawing and reflect on how your images can shift and grow across different media.

Who is it for

Artists, creatives and image-makers of all levels welcome, including beginners.
