Overview

Spring Term courses will open for booking on Saturday 8 November at 3pm.
During this course Young Artists will explore essential drawing techniques through hands-on experimentation with line, tone, shape, perspective, and colour. Young artists will draw from a wide range of sources – including clothed models, still life arrangements, artworks, film, imagination, and their everyday surroundings to encourage a broad approach to image-making.
Each week, tutors will introduce new exercises and diverse influences to keep the course fresh, dynamic, and inspiring. Young artists will be encouraged to develop their unique artistic voice, sharpen their observation skills and will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of materials.
Classes will take place in the Royal Drawing School’s fourth-floor studio in Shoreditch, and occasionally students will work outdoors in the local vicinity.
