Students of the 2025 Drawing Year programme invite you to explore their annual Studio Show, running in parallel with The Drawing Year 2025 End of Year Postgraduate Exhibition. A 30 minute walk or short bus ride away at SPACE studios in Hackney, visitors will encounter an expansive range of practices that have grown from a year spent in intensive drawing.
Private view: Thursday 4 December, 6–9.30pm
The work on display spans a broad spectrum of styles, materials, and scales, from drawing, painting, and printmaking to sculpture and more experimental approaches. Each artist’s practice has developed from a foundation of rigorous observational drawing, branching outward into new territories, personal interests, and diverse visual languages.
Curated to reflect the conversations and shared explorations that have shaped the year, the Studio Show places the artists in dialogue with one another. The result is a flowing, interconnected exhibition that highlights both individual voices and the collective energy of the cohort.
We welcome you to step inside the studios, meet the artists, and experience the many directions a year of drawing can lead.
