The Foundation Year End of Year Exhibition 2021

At the end of the academic year in June students have the opportunity to exhibit their work. The exhibition shows the Final Major Project outcomes, in which students have designed and executed a self-directed body of work that demonstrates independent and creative thinking.

This year students have received a blend of online and in person teaching, with over 50% of the year taught in the studios in person. The students have demonstrated an impressive commitment to their own learning in adapting to the adversity presented by the global pandemic and this exhibition is a celebration of the year’s achievements.

The Royal Drawing School’s Foundation Year has now closed. 

We are launching a new School Leavers Programme in Autumn 2022, designed for students looking to progress to BA degrees in both the arts and sciences, providing portfolio support for those who are preparing for entry to art school.
