Fact sheet, Summer Term 2026 Drawing a Head
About
This course invites students to experiment with materials in a bid to describe the sitter. Students will concentrate on all aspects of viewing and depicting the head, from the formal aspects of looking and drawing to exploring concepts like shape, composition, likeness, and negative space.
Long poses of models will allow immersive concentration and time to dissect and explore the intricacies of the ever-evasive human form.
When
Tuesdays, 28 April to 26 May. 10am to 5pm.
