Cornelia Parker in-conversation with William Feaver
Cornelia Parker is best known for her large-scale installations such as Cold Dark Matter: An Exploded View for which she had a garden shed blown up by the British Army. She undertook her BFA at Wolverhampton Polytechnic and her MFA at Reading University. In 1997 she was shortlisted for the Turner Prize for The Maybe, an exhibition made in collaboration with the actress Tilda Swinton in 1995, focusing on the impressions that one has when confronted with the belongings of famous people.
