Young Artists Exhibition 2022
We are delighted to announce that the Young Artist Exhibition will be returning to the Royal Drawing School this July! After a challenging two years we are very much looking forward to celebrating our students and their work.
A wide range of drawings by students of the Royal Drawing School's Young Artists programme will be on display at the Young Artists Exhibition 2022 which open to view for the public from Friday 8 July until Friday 15 July.
The selection was made by our senior faculty to reflect the range and talent of our Young Artists. This represents a small fraction of the thousands of drawings that have been made during the course of the last academic year. Each week students challenge themselves to capture their observations of the world around them on paper.
This is a rare opportunity for these young artists to show their work in a professionally curated public exhibition at the Royal Drawing School’s large gallery space in the creative East End.
The exhibition is open to all and you do not need to book a ticket to attend. If you can't make it to the exhibition in-person, a selection of work from the exhibition can be viewed online.
We were also thrilled to have an inspiring children's illustrator as guest speaker at our exhibition opening, Coralie Bickford-Smith. Some of our Young Artists, Leo, Judy and Indigo got the chance to interview Coralie about her creative process and which artists inspire her.
If you are interested in joining one of our Young Artist Courses please do take a look at our Young Artist webpages for further information.
Please note the exhibition is closed for a private event on Wednesday 13th July, 9am - 1pm.
