Artwork gallery Trees
Trees are an artists delight. They are forgiving to draw in the sense that if you add an extra branch people will seldom notice but they also allow us to be expressive and gestural. The different species allows the artist to capture unique characteristics in a way that we might look to a face for a unique personality. Trees can express the season of a piece, give character to a mood and be an amazing compositional device that allows a scale often far bigger than the human body.
