Anti-bribery & corruption definitions & purpose
Definition
1. It is our policy to conduct all of our business in an honest and ethical manner. The School prohibits and takes a zero-tolerance approach to bribery and corruption and is committed to acting professionally, fairly, and with integrity in all its business dealings and relationships wherever the School operates.
2. The School has implemented appropriate management procedures to help prevent any breach of this policy, and to detect, report, and deal with any breach which may occur. The School will monitor the effectiveness of the policy and procedures and will implement any improvements which are necessary to enhance their effectiveness.
3. The School will comply with all laws relevant to countering bribery and corruption in all the jurisdictions in which it operates and requires all employees and third parties with which it has, or plans to establish, some form of business relationship. The School remains bound by the laws of the UK, including the Bribery Act 2010, in respect of its conduct both at home and abroad.
Purpose
1. The purpose of the policy is to:
(a) Set out The Royal Drawing School’s responsibilities, and of those working for us, in observing and upholding our position on bribery and corruption; and
(b) Provide information and guidance to those working for us on how to recognise and deal with bribery and corruption issues.
