The Royal Drawing School is offering seven places on its Autumn 2026 Young Artists Programme.

The Young Artist Saturday courses for 10-14 and 15-18-year-olds use observational drawing to develop technical skills, creative thinking and self-expression.

Courses are available online and at a range of locations including Norwich and London. They are taught by professional artists who are alumni of the School’s postgraduate programme, The Drawing Year, and have extensive experience teaching young people. 

Seven places are being given away. For your chance to win, please enter your details and select the courses you are interested in.

Ages 10-14, Online
Online course encourages Young Artists to transform their home environment into a personal art studio where they will build skills, spark their imagination, and develop their drawing practice.  
Ages 15-18, In the National Gallery

In the National Gallery is inspired by the National Gallery's collection of over 2,300 paintings. Young Artists will draw from the figure, explore landscape and portraiture in mythology in art. 

Ages 15-18, Drawing in Context, Galleries & Museums

Drawing in Context, Galleries & Museums offers Young Artists the chance to explore traditional and contemporary museum and gallery spaces in Central London to develop a regular out of the studio drawing practice. 

Ages 15-18, Online

Online course encourages Young Artists to transform their home environment into a personal art studio where they will build skills, spark their imagination, and develop their drawing practice. 

Ages 15-18, In the Studio, Norwich

In the Studio, Norwich immerses Young Artists in the world of drawing in the heart of Norwich's creative quarter. Young Artists will build a portfolio of work and grow their technical skills. 

Ages 15-18, Life Drawing, Shoreditch
This course introduces students to a professional studio environment. They will practice observational drawing from unclothed models each week and establish a foundation from which to take their art to the next level.

Promoter

The Royal Drawing School, 19–22 Charlotte Road, London EC2A 3SG

Eligibility

Open to UK residents aged 18 or over (Parents or Guardians of the Young Artist). Employees of the Promoter are not eligible.

Entry

No purchase or payment is required. Only one entry per person is permitted.

Prizes

7 winners will be selected for:
  • One place on the Royal Drawing School’s Autumn Young Artists programme (commences September 2026)

The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with an alternative of equal or greater value if necessary.

Winner selection & notification

Seven winners will be selected at random after the giveaway closes. The winner will be notified by email within 7 days. If the winner does not respond within 7 days, the Promoter may select an alternative winner.

Publicity

By entering, the winner consents to their name and entry being used for promotional purposes by the Promoter.

No Cash Alternative

The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and no cash alternative is offered.
