Overview

Students will be given ample time and space to approach the formal aspects of looking and drawing with the aim of developing their own visual language. Different ideas such as shape, composition, likeness and negative space will be taken into consideration. Reference to multifarious approaches to the subject explored by artists using 2- and 3D forms will be made throughout.

Long poses by models will create time for immersive concentration to dissect and explore the intricacies of the ever-evasive human form. A variety of materials and mediums will be covered.
