Overview

With Jeanette, students will work on a series of drawings on location, looking at how artists have approached architectural themes. Students will be introduced to imaginative drawing exercises to help encourage a personal approach and will be given compositional advice to allow students to work on larger pieces away from location in their own time if they so wish.

With Martin, students will concentrate on developing the ability to make a larger drawing working on site. Perspective from observation will be taught and the anatomy of the architecture explored as a way to hold together and experience the view of a specific location.

Who is it for

Artists, creatives and image-makers of all levels welcome, including beginners. 

What’s provided

For our courses being held out and about, you will need to bring your own paper and materials with you. You will be sent a suggested material list before the start of the course.
