Overview

This course is a fully-funded scholarship programme open to young artists aged 10-14.

Taught by practicing artists, this course offers students the chance to sharpen their skills through a range of observational drawing exercises.

Students will explore a wide range of drawing techniques through sessions that include drawing from clothed models, still life, artworks, film, imagination, and occasional outdoor work. They’ll be encouraged to develop their own artistic voice and strengthen observation skills while experimenting with a variety of materials and mixed media.

Young artists will also draw from a contemporary art collection featuring world-renowned artists, situated across the campus.

This programme is designed to run the whole academic year. We ask students to commit to the full period to maximise their learning and skills development.
