This course supports students to build a vibrant and inspiring drawing practise and encourages young artists to build skills, spark imagination, and transform their home environment into a personal art studio.
Summer Term courses will open for booking on Saturday 14 March at 3pm.
During this course Young Artists will explore essential drawing techniques through hands-on experimentation with line, tone, shape, perspective, and colour.
Taught live via Zoom, Tutors will guide students through a wide range of drawing exercises and introduce diverse influences to keep the course fresh, dynamic, and inspiring.
Each week will focus on a new technique, theme or artistic practise and students will have the opportunity to draw from clothed models, still life arrangements, artworks, film and their everyday surroundings. During the term Young artists will be encouraged to develop their unique artistic voice and sharpen their observation skills whilst exploring the practise of drawing from the comfort of their own home.
Tutors will offer support and guidance throughout the sessions and students will use an online gallery to share their work with the group.
