Saturday Life Class (Drop-in)

This class is an opportunity for life drawing without the need to commit to a full term. There will be a different model each week with a variety of poses, both long and short, and students will be given individual guidance as they work.

Overview

Spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis. No need to book – just turn up and pay on the day.

Half day timings:

Morning session: 10am - 1pm
Afternoon session: 2pm - 4pm

Charcoal is provided in studios. Paper is available to purchase in the studios at a cost price.

Who is it for

Beginners welcome. No experience of drawing required.

What’s provided

Charcoal is provided in studios.

For studio courses, easels, drawing boards, charcoal, newsprint and masking tape are provided in the studios for free.

An optional paper fee is payable in the studio if you choose to use our cartridge and watercolour paper.

What to bring

You are encouraged to bring your own materials to the studio, for your personal use.

This is an example list of what may be needed; a full material lists will be provided one week before your course begins.

Send a recent DWP or JobCentre Plus letter confirming you receive Jobseeker’s Allowance or Universal Credit (if out of work). Appointment booklets are not accepted.

Send proof that you currently receive this allowance.
Tower Hamlets and Hackney Residents: 25% (Shoreditch courses only)
Send a copy of your most recent council tax bill.
