Overview
Summer Term courses will open for booking on Saturday 14 March at 3pm.
Students will explore and develop key drawing techniques and skills, experimenting and exploring line, tone, shape, form, perspective, proportion and colour. Sessions will include drawing from clothed models, still life sets, artworks, film, imagination and on occasion will work outside or visit local parks or venues.
Students will be encouraged to develop their artistic voice and observation skills. They will be introduced to a range of mediums including pencil, charcoal, watercolour, acrylic paint, collage, 3D paper, and clay modelling.
This is a hybrid course with some sessions taking place at New Cumnock Town Hall in the heart of New Cumnock, whilst other sessions are taught online via Zoom. A full schedule will be shared in advance.
Who is it for
Students based in Scotland aged 10 to 14 or in school years P6 to S3 with a passion for drawing and a desire to develop their skills.

All materials for classes are supplied for in person sessions.
A list of recommended materials will be shared for the online sessions.
What to bring
